Heartache: Vanessa Perroncel says she wants to get back with Wayne Bridge in her first TV interview following claims she had an affair with John Terry

Vanessa Perroncel has given her first TV interview following her alleged affair with ex-England captain John Terry - saying she'd like to get back with former boyfriend Wayne Bridge.

The lingerie model tells GMTV's Kate Garraway that 'there was never any malicious intention in what I ever did'.

She denies having an affair with Terry, who was stripped of the England captaincy following reports about their relationship, saying that the pair were 'friends'.

Breaking her silence: She spoke to GMTV's Kate Garraway where she denied having a fling with Terry, saying he was just a friend

The model, whose ex-boyfriend Bridge was close friends with Terry and played with him for England, says of her relationship with Terry: 'Friends, we were friends. That's what we were.'

Asked whether she had had an affair with the married father of twins, she replied: 'No, I think I made that clear.

'I denied that from the start but people didn't want to hear. I've never said, 'Oh yes, I've had an affair with John Terry,' I said, 'No, he was my friend.''

Asked if Terry's wife Toni Poole believed her, she replied: 'Yes, I believe she did, yes.'

The French underwear model denied Terry gave her money to keep quiet over the allegations, saying: 'Absolutely not. I didn't take a penny from him.'

Asked if she felt guilty about the fall-out from the alleged affair, she said: 'I felt like it was getting out of hand, more than guilty. Because like I said, there was never any malicious intention in what I ever did.'

Perroncel said of getting back together with Bridge, the father of her young son Jaydon: 'It would be lovely, but you know, Wayne might not feel that way. Whether we get back together or not, you know, crazier things have happened.'

Terry was sacked as England captain in February after reports about his alleged affair put pressure on England boss Fabio Capello to act.

The interview is being broadcast on GMTV this morning.

On Monday Garraway unwittingly gave away some of the questions she was intending to ask Perroncel when she was pictured leaving the GMTV studios clutching a coffee and a handful of poorly concealed cue cards.

She was pictured on her way to interview Perroncel and while she may not have intended anyone to see them, her questions were all too clear thanks to an eagle-eyed photographer who zoomed in on them.

Questions on the crib sheet included, 'Why did it take you 8 months to speak out?' and 'Did you have an affair with John Terry?'

Kate had also written, 'Was it love at first sight?' and she had written down a note to ask whether Vanessa had spoken to John's wife Toni and whether she was 'comfortable'.

She also appeared to have written notes about 'allegations of secret texts' and 'landlady saw you in the room', possibly referring to the Chelsea flat where she and John allegedly met up.

Vanessa and John are alleged to have conducted an affair over four months in late 2009, after she had split from Manchester City star Wayne Bridge, who was Terry's teammate at Chelsea.

Speaking to FHM last month, Vanessa said: 'He was my friend. I'd known him for eight years. I split up from Wayne and he was there for me.'
