Humiliated: Abbey Clancy, seen at a riding stables today pulled out of her regular fashion slot on show This Morning after more allegations about fiancée Peter Crouch emerged

Abbey Clancy pulled out of a TV appearance today in the wake of allegations about her footballer fiancé Peter Crouch.

Miss Clancy, 24, was supposed to present live Tuesday fashion slots on ITV1 show This Morning.

But she cancelled today's appearance and it is not yet known when she will return to the programme.

Instead she enjoyed a low key day away from the spotlight at the riding stables.

The keen horsewoman who last week was seen with Toni Terry, wife of Chelsea star John, looked downcast and unsurprisingly, the engagement ring was off again.

The model was seen without her engagement ring while filming her E4 reality TV show Great British Hairdresser at the weekend after pictures emerged of Crouch, 29, apparently flirting with women in France.

The snaps appeared to show Crouch touching the thigh of a woman in a French nightclub, during a holiday to the Riviera with Miss Clancy.

This followed on from revelations the gangly soccer star had paid a teenage prostitute for sex in Madrid.

Crouch and his fiancée, who have a mansion in Weybridge, Surrey, are said to have held crisis talks about their future.

A This Morning spokeswoman confirmed Miss Clancy had pulled out of today's fashion slot and added: 'We are keeping in touch with her each week.'

Tottenham striker Crouch is in Switzerland for a Champions League qualifier tonight. Bosses have not given him time off to deal with his beleaguered personal life.

The heartbroken WAG has been left humiliated by cheating allegations after previously speaking publicly about her trust in footballer fiancé Peter Crouch.

Questioned about the affairs of other footballers this year, Miss Clancy emphasised her belief that her relationship was different.

She told OK magazine: 'There are loads of footballers who are happily married and you don't hear anything about them.'

'I know it sounds cheesy, but I knew he was The One immediately. He says a lovely thing to me every day, a million times a day.

'Everyone chats Peter up, and it doesn't matter if I'm there or not. It amuses me and Peter doesn't take any notice of them.'

She will be devastated to learn that the words she so confidently spoke just two months ago have come back to haunt her.

The 24-year-old revealed recently that she had turned down an opportunity to make a name for herself in America, after refusing a lucrative contract with a U.S. modelling agency.

'I just don't think I could leave Pete, my life is fulfilled with my relationship,' she said at the time. My modelling career is a bonus. I'm happy with Pete and that's enough for me.'

After learning of the Tottenham Hotspur player's alleged indiscretions, Abbey sought solace in female company.

She hired a private jet out of her joint bank account with Crouch to fly to Majorca to be comforted by mother Karen and consulted with fellow WAG Toni Terry, who had found herself in a similar position in January.

Miss Clancy is said to be under pressure from her family to dump her 'love rat' fiancé, and her 22-year-old brother Sean has said: 'He doesn't deserve you.'

Previously the Liverpool born WAG talked excitedly about her wedding gown plans: 'I don't want to spend ages faffing, I'll just go for it one day, and when I find the one, even if I'm a bit unsure, I'm going to go with it,' she said.

'Actually, a friend told me something funny the other day. I asked: "How do you know if it's the right dress?" and she replied: "How do you know if it's the right fiancé?"

'The point is you love them and you picked them. There could be another one out there, but you love this one and you've made a choice.'

Only time will tell if Miss Clancy decides she has made the right choice, after all.
