The pair, who started dating this year, are already talking about moving in together, I can report.
According to one source, Christine has moved three suitcases of clothes into Frank’s Chelsea townhouse and her white Audi sports car is regularly parked in the driveway.
The Chelsea midfielder is about to start renovating the house and is moving into a nearby flat while the work is done.
Lampard kept the £8.5 million property when he and ex-fiancee Elen Rives split in February last year.
The house, boasts six bedrooms and bathrooms and is just a stone’s throw from Chelsea’s ground at Stamford Bridge. One of the jobs in the costly refurbishment will be the addition of a swimming pool.
‘Once Frank has had the property renovated, Christine thinks she’ll feel more at home,’ says a source. ‘She stays over a lot, but she always felt it was Frank and Elen’s place.
‘Now Frank is doing the house up, she’ll be a lot happier.’
Another source tells me: ‘The whole job is going to take about two years to do. He’s waited for the planning for ages and now he’s got permission.’
Just weeks ago, the couple were photographed in the village of Ferring in West Sussex, prompting speculation they planned to move out of London. However, friends insist they will stay in the capital.
‘Both of them have to commute so they don’t want to be out of London,’ says one source.‘They are going to wait and see what happens but they’d like to set up home together. They’re very much in love.’
A spokesman for Lampard said: ‘Frank’s been planning this for ages. As far as I know, Christine’s not moving in.’
