Girls' night out for Coleen Rooney as she goes to see Cheryl Cole perform instead of supporting Wayne on the pitch

Tonight's gonna be a good night: Coleen Rooney arrived at the MEN Arena last night to watch pal Cheryl Cole support the Black Eyed Peas in concert

It's clear where Coleen Rooney's priorities lie.

When it came to choosing between supporting her husband's England team last night, or going to see Cheryl Cole perform with the Black Eyed Peas there was no contest.

New mother Coleen, 24, ditched her WAG duties and headed out to see her friend at the MEN Arena.

Joined by her girlfriends, Coleen slipped into a two-tier white dress, Christian Louboutin heels and teamed her ensemble with a pair of very weighty-looking earrings.

As she watched Cheryl belt out songs from her album 3 Words, followed by the main act - U.S. group the Black Eye Peas - Wayne was at Wembley for the England versus Mexico World Cup friendly.

But it was Ledley King, Peter Crouch and Glen Johnson who scored and made it a 3-1 win for England.

Copy my swagger: She was joined by her girlfriends and clearly though a gig would be more fun than watching husband Wayne on the pitch for England

Cheryl leaves the arena after her stint

Following her stint on stage, Cheryl was seen leaving the MEN Arena via a back door, wearing a pair of pink frame sunglasses.

She has been supporting the Black Eyed Peas throughout the European leg of their world tour, which makes its way back to London for two nights on Thursday.

Coleen, who gave birth to baby Kai in November, recently revealed she had been in touch with Cheryl since her split from Chelsea player husband Ashley Cole.

She said last month: 'I do keep in touch with Cheryl. Occasionally we will drop each other a text. Cheryl is just so nice and doing so well.'

Speaking about trying to regain her pre-pregnancy figure, she admitted she was in no rush.

'I've still got a bit of a belly,' she added. 'It's getting there, but you can't do it too fast and to be honest I'm not too bothered about it as that's part and parcel of pregnancy.'

Manchester United footballer Wayne has also taught a family parrot to speak his son Kai's name, training the African Grey bird which belons to his Coleen's parents Colette and Tony McLoughlin.
