That's exactly what Jennifer Thompson, the prostitute who claimed footballer Wayne Rooney paid her for sex, did today as she hit Manchester for some retail therapy.
Thompson, 21, hit the headlines last month when she claimed that Manchester United and England star Rooney, 24, had paid her for sex.
She said the star had met up with her several times for liasons while his wife Coleen was pregnant with their son Kai.
Jennifer has kept a fairly low profile in public since the allegations broke but today she was seen out in the northern city with a friend.
