'Delusional' husband who accused wife of having affair with David Beckham submits emails 'proving she was cheating with another man'

Dragged into it: Victoria and David Beckham's children go to school with those of the Shabanis, but the family say they were unaware of the claims

The husband of the woman accused of having an affair with David Beckham claims he has evidence of 'emails and texts' to prove she was cheating on him.

In a court deposition, multi-millionaire lawyer Kambiz Shabani, 43, has responded to his wife Shery Shabani’s bid for a restraining order by insisting she has been having an affair.

Both Beckham and Mrs Shabani have categorically denied any sort of sexual relationship and there is no suggestion the emails and texts involve Beckham.
In a separate declaration to the court, Mr Shabani’s brother Kamyar - also a lawyer - insisted his brother had evidence of ‘emails and texts’ to prove Mrs Shabani, 33, had committed adultery and was 'lying' to her family.

Mr Shabani did not say who he believed his wife was having an affair with. And there is no suggestion these emails have anything to do with former England captain Beckham.

Mrs Shabani and the star - who has been married to wife Victoria for 11 years - have insisted they have not had a sexual relationship. A spokesman for Beckham said last week the initial claims were ‘full of fantasy.’

Now, in the deposition filed at Los Angeles Superior Court, Mr Shabani has said he and his wife ‘have been experiencing marital troubles for many months due to my belief that petitioner [Mrs Shabani] has had an affair.’

Kamyar Shabani added in a court declaration that he asked Mrs Shabani’s father ‘if he was aware that petitioner had an affair' and that Mr Shabani ‘had emails and texts’ that he would show her father ‘to prove he had not done anything wrong and that petitioner [Mrs Shabani] was lying to her own parents.’

Mr Shabani – whose law firm with his brother is based in Century City, Los Angeles – was responding to Mrs Shabani’s bid to have a restraining order placed on him following their separation.

In her deposition to the court, made public last week, Mrs Shabani had claimed Mr Shabani had – falsely – accused her of having an affair with Beckham.
In his response, Mr Shabani made no mention of the footballer.

However, following a closed-door hearing on Monday in front of Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Amy Pellman, six emails said to have been presented by Mr Shabani’s lawyer Manley Freid to the judge have also been kept confidential.

There is no evidence the messages had anything to do with Beckham.
However, a representative for Mrs Shabani is reported to have told entertainment website RadarOnline there have been emails between Mrs Shabani and Beckham although she said they were ‘purely business’ related.

Mrs Shabani also submitted four text messages and six of her own emails into evidence.

Mrs Shabani’s testimony also revealed the luxurious lifestyle she and Mr Shabani had enjoyed.

She told how Mr Shabani is a successful lawyer and investor who owns a string of properties and has boasted to her that he runs ‘a $100 million company.’

She said: ‘Our family residence is located in one of the most expensive, exclusive, luxurious and coveted neighbourhoods in Los Angeles County. The Mapleton residence has eight bathrooms, four bedrooms, three storeys, including a full in-home gym, and it is approximately 13,000 feet..’

In his court deposition, Kambiz Shabani, 43, insisted his wife twisted the truth in her account of the furious row that led to their break up in mid-August.

He said he was ‘shocked’ at the allegations she made along with her parents Majid and Elizabeth Zarnegin and and her sister in support of a restraining order she took out against him.

In his written testimony, Kambiz - known to his family and friends by his middle name, Joseph - denied becoming physically abusive with his wife or shouting that he was going to kill her or yelling in front of their two children.

He claimed his wife started shouting at him on August 17 in an argument over his plans to refinance their mansion.

He said he believed she ‘was attempting to instigate an argument or fight, so that she could create a situation whereby she could call the police and/or find a way to have me kicked out of the house.’

It emerged last week that Beckham had been named in the court case.
Mrs Shabani , had said she was accused by her 'jealous and 'delusional' husband of having an affair with Beckham, whose three sons attend the same school as her own son and daughter.

She also claimed Beckham had told her Mr Shabani, had tried to run the star off the road in his car outside the school in May.

However, a friend of the Beckham’s said the star was ‘not aware’ of either the car-ramming incident or speaking to Mrs Shabani regarding it.

A friend of the Beckhams said they were 'acquaintances' of Mrs Shabani as their children - Brooklyn, 11; Romeo, eight and five-year-old Cruz - attend the same exclusive £14,000-a-year Hollywood school.

The court battle comes just two weeks after prostitute Irina Nici claimed she had slept with Beckham.

As a result, Beckham - who insists the claims are completely false - is suing Miss Nici for nearly £16million in damages.

Mrs Shabani denied any affair in the court documents.
In her court deposition she had written: 'Beginning in 2010, Respondent [Mr Shabani] has accused me of having an affair with Beckham, often in front of our children.
'I have repeatedly told him that his accusation is untrue. In fact, Respondent's ongoing allegations regarding Mr Beckham are part and parcel of Respondent's delusional thought processes.'

'Although Mr Beckham's children go to the same school as our children, Respondent's allegations are untrue.

'In May 2010, Mr Beckham told me that Respondent had gone to our children's school and tried to drive Mr Beckham's car off the road. Mr Beckham further advised me that his car had almost crashed as a result.'
