Jake Gyllenhaal takes new girlfriend Taylor Swift to meet his movie star sister Maggie

New love: Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal can't wipe the smiles off their faces as they went on a romantic stroll to a grocery store in New York recently


It's clear Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal are still enjoying the honeymoon period of their relationship.

But things seem to have taken a more serious turn as he has already introduced the young singer to his other favourite person - his movie star sister Maggie Gyllenhaal.

Taylor was seen holding hands with the actress's four-year-old daughter Ramona as they strolled together in New York.

The new couple were the epitome of domestic bliss as they giggled and smiled during a walk to a local grocery store.

With her arm wrapped affectionately around his shoulders, Taylor and Jake appeared to be in a world of their own as they wallowed in their new-found love, looking at each other adoringly.

Singer Taylor and actor Jake started dating in October. It comes a year after the Brokeback Mountain star split from Reese Witherspoon.

Taylor, who turned 21 this week, was previously linked to Twilight star Taylor Lautner.

Jake and Taylor were spotted enjoying each other's company in Brooklyn, New York, on Thanksgiving late last month.

After stocking up on groceries, they joined Jake's sister Maggie for dinner.

Jake has been promoting his new film Love & Other Drugs in Sydney recently while Taylor has been in Nashville working on some new music.

But despite their hectic schedules the pair made the time to meet up earlier this week when they arrived back in Los Angeles and went on a trip to Beverly Hills.

The couple seem to be going from strength to strength, with sources close to the couple confirming that it's a serious relationship.

'Taylor is smitten. She loves how nice and affectionate he is,' an insider told Us Weekly magazine.

'Jake likes that Taylor is sweet, low-key and very easy to be around.'

X Factor 2010 winner Matt Cardle's ex-girlfriend accused him of dumping her as soon as he had his first taste of success.

But Lauren Cutmore will undoubtedly be smirking when she sees her ex's new music video for winner's single When We Collide, which made its debut today.

Proving that even X Factor bosses can't edit out the 27-year-old Essex man's past, the pretty 24-year-old makes a cameo appearance in the clip.

Primarily made up of footage of Cardle's X Factor journey, his ex-girlfriend can be seen celebrating with him after he was put through to the boot camp stage of auditions.

Miss Cutmore told the Daily Mail that the former painter and decorator cut off contact with her after getting through to the judge's houses round.

Lauren's father Mick Cutmore told the Sunday Mirror in October that X Factor bosses may have influence Matt's decision to dump his daughter.

Her cameo is very short though, lasting only a couple of seconds.

The rest of the music video is made up of Cardle in a spotlit studio, playing a guitar.

During an interview with the Daily Mail this week, the singer played down his ex's claims, but conceded that they were based in fact.
